This is my third year doing the shamrock shuffle. Even though I had a run in January, I consider this as the start of my season. I enjoy doing this run because it goes through downtown and its the race that I started with.
I’ve been worried about the weather since we’ve had a crazy winter. They were forecasting that it would be in the 60’s, but throughout the week it kept on going down. The weather was actually nice it was in the 40’s and sunny.
I had a nice surprise I saw Nirma H. And Jose B. Before we went into the corrals. Jose was in the same corral as me so we went there together. Congrats Jose in completing his first run.
One thing that I’m going to do this year is take more pictures and enjoy the course. In this race I took selfies with the a Chicago Theater, the Board of Trade and the Sears Tower…yes I still call it Sears. I finished the race in 1hr 3min and 13sec.
